Effective communication skills are essential in the modern workplace.  Effective communicators have huge advantages in the workplace: they express what they want and need in a way that others can understand; and they are active listeners who build rapport with colleagues. This 2-day course is designed for participants who want to learn the core skills and techniques of effective communicators.

  • To learn to become a more effective communicator within a work environment.
  • To understand the multi-faceted elements of communication, including speaking, listening, body language and rapport-building.
  • To gain confidence as a communicator.

How to Build Effective Working Relationships (2 days)

Overview

Employees who have effective working relationships with colleagues experience greater work satisfaction, higher productivity, and less conflict. This 2-day course offers participants a comprehensive understanding of what effective working relationships look like, how such relationships can be forged, and what these relationships can accomplish.

However, employees often lack the necessary skills to manage these challenging situations. This 1-day course enables participants to discuss the demanding situations they regularly face and to explore alternative strategies for managing these situations more effectively.
